Well people, your wish is our command, the Catalonia Pool Festival is here.
The Catalonia Pool festival is a holiday week for pool players to enjoy with their families and to meet old and new friends. The festival will be all about FUN!FUN!FUN!
Remember we are players as well, so we have a good idea what all your needs will be in helping you have the time of your life.
For the local players, it is a chance to compete against the best players from other countries without leaving their home town. For those who are visiting these shores for the first time, it will be your chance to see the charms of this beautiful country, as well as to compete in a championship which has been designed as a holiday with pool thrown in.
We have interesting excursions planned, for example, a trip to watch a Barça FC match at the Camp Nou, a day in the Port Aventura Theme Park, a trip to a local vineyard to sample some fine wines and Cavas and also to find out about Tarragona, a mankind's heritage city.
We will offer several visits to a Golf course, a go-karting track, quad bike excursions and needless to say we will take you to Salou, a heavenly place for the British.
All main events on the program will begin at 6 pm, this will give all entrants time to attend organized excursions, visit the beach, or just sleep off your hangover! Having said that, if it's just pool you want, you will be able to do that 24/7 as we will be running flyers which will start every day at 12 o'clock.
We are preparing a welcome party on the beach with lots of “Sangria†and “Ron Crematâ€, and of course a farewell party on the last day, after the closing ceremony, where you will be entertained with live music, Karaoke and plenty of dancing.
The Catalonia Pool Festival will be a blend of pool, partying and tourism.
